ईश्वर उवाच । ततस्तेषु प्रयातेषु देवदेवेष्वसौ मुनिः । शतवर्षाणि तत्रस्थस्तपसे प्रस्थितो द्विजः
īśvara uvāca | tatasteṣu prayāteṣu devadeveṣvasau muniḥ | śatavarṣāṇi tatrasthastapase prasthito dvijaḥ
Īśvara phán: Khi các chư thiên đã rời đi, vị hiền triết ấy vẫn ở lại nơi đó; bậc lưỡng sinh ấy chuyên tâm tu khổ hạnh (tapas) suốt một trăm năm.
