एवं कृत्वा नरो भक्त्या लभते जन्मनः फलम् । तीर्थेषु दानं वक्ष्यामि येषु यद्दीयते तिथौ
evaṃ kṛtvā naro bhaktyā labhate janmanaḥ phalam | tīrtheṣu dānaṃ vakṣyāmi yeṣu yaddīyate tithau
Làm như vậy với lòng sùng tín, con người đạt được quả thật của kiếp sinh làm người. Nay ta sẽ nói về các lễ thí tại những tīrtha—vào mỗi ngày tithi (ngày âm lịch) thì nên cúng dường vật gì.
