Transliteration

tapaḥśīlaguṇopete pātre vedasya pārage | suvarṇakoṭiṃ yaddattvā tatphalaṃ kusumena tu

Translation

Đối với bậc thọ nhận xứng đáng—đầy đủ khổ hạnh, hạnh kiểm và đức tính, lại thông suốt Veda—quả phúc nào phát sinh từ việc bố thí một koṭi vàng, thì quả phúc ấy cũng đạt được chỉ bằng việc dâng một đóa hoa (lên Śiva).
