Transliteration

tasminkāle tadā tatra gate varṣasahasrake | tataḥ kṛtvā tapaścāyaṃ pratyakṣīkṛtaśaṃkaraḥ

Translation

Khi ấy, tại nơi ấy, sau khi tròn một ngàn năm, người ấy hành khổ hạnh; nhờ uy lực tapas đó, đã khiến Śaṅkara (Śiva) hiển lộ trước mắt, được trực kiến Ngài.
