ततः कृत्वा तपो घोरं कार्त्तिकेयेन भाभिनि । परदारापहारोत्थपापानां नाशहेतवे

tataḥ kṛtvā tapo ghoraṃ kārttikeyena bhābhini | paradārāpahārotthapāpānāṃ nāśahetave

Rồi đó, hỡi người nữ rạng ngời, Kārttikeya đã tu khổ hạnh nghiêm khắc tại nơi ấy, nhằm diệt trừ những tội lỗi phát sinh từ việc cướp đoạt vợ của người khác.
