कृत्वापसव्यं पूर्वेद्युः पितृपूर्वं निमंत्रयेत् । भवद्भिः पितृकार्यं नः संपाद्यं च प्रसीदथ
kṛtvāpasavyaṃ pūrvedyuḥ pitṛpūrvaṃ nimaṃtrayet | bhavadbhiḥ pitṛkāryaṃ naḥ saṃpādyaṃ ca prasīdatha
Vào ngày trước, sau khi làm nghi thức apasavya (đặt dây thiêng sang bên trái), người ta nên thỉnh mời các bà-la-môn, bắt đầu trước hết bằng việc kính thỉnh các Pitṛ (tổ tiên): “Xin chư vị hoàn thành nghi lễ tổ tiên cho chúng con, và xin hoan hỷ gia ân.”
