tretāyuge caturviṃśe rāvaṇastapasaḥ kṣayāt | rāmaṃ dāśarathiṃ prāpya sagaṇaḥ kṣayameyivān

Trong Tretā-yuga lần thứ hai mươi bốn, khi quả báo của khổ hạnh đã cạn, Rāvaṇa gặp Rāma Dāśarathi và cùng đoàn quân của mình đi đến diệt vong.
