ऋषय ऊचुः । पुराणसंख्यामाचक्ष्व सूत विस्तरशः क्रमात् । दानधर्ममशेषज्ञ यथावदनुपूर्वशः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | purāṇasaṃkhyāmācakṣva sūta vistaraśaḥ kramāt | dānadharmamaśeṣajña yathāvadanupūrvaśaḥ
Các bậc hiền triết thưa rằng: “Hỡi Sūta, xin giảng rõ, theo thứ tự và tường tận, số lượng các Purāṇa—từng bước, đúng pháp—hỡi bậc thấu suốt trọn vẹn Dharma của bố thí (dāna).”
