viṣe pīte mahādevi prabhāsasthasya me sadā | bhūṣaṇaṃ muktaye devairmama caṃdraḥ kṛtaḥ purā
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: After drinking the cosmic poison, Śiva stands calm; devas present the Moon as a cooling ornament; Prabhāsa’s sacred shoreline/temple aura subtly frames the scene.
Śiva transforms विष (poison) into auspiciousness; divine compassion converts danger into a path-sign of liberation for the world.
Prabhāsakṣetra is explicitly named as Śiva’s abiding place in this māhātmya passage.
No direct ritual is prescribed; the verse gives theological meaning: the Moon as an emblem linked with mokṣa.
