कालहीनं न कर्तव्यं कृतं न फलदं भवेत् । वेदेष्वयमधीकारो दृष्टः सर्वो मनीषिभिः

Transliteration

kālahīnaṃ na kartavyaṃ kṛtaṃ na phaladaṃ bhavet | vedeṣvayamadhīkāro dṛṣṭaḥ sarvo manīṣibhiḥ

Translation

Nghi lễ không nên cử hành trái thời; làm sai thời thì không sinh quả báo. Quy tắc về tư cách hành lễ và thời điểm này được thấy khắp trong các Veda, như hết thảy bậc hiền triết đều đã thừa nhận.
