ऋतुस्नाता मही तत्र गर्भं गृह्णाति भास्करात् । द्यौर्जलं सूयते गर्भं वर्षास्वास्विह भूतले
ṛtusnātā mahī tatra garbhaṃ gṛhṇāti bhāskarāt | dyaurjalaṃ sūyate garbhaṃ varṣāsvāsviha bhūtale
Tại nơi ấy, Địa Mẫu—được tắm gội theo mùa—đón nhận hạt giống như bào thai từ Bhāskara (Thái Dương). Và Dyauḥ sinh ra bào thai nước ấy thành những cơn mưa, hết lần này đến lần khác, rưới xuống mặt đất này.
