अपि दोषसहस्राणि यदि पुत्रः समाचरेत् । प्राणद्रोहेऽपि निरतो न माता पापमाचरेत् । तस्मात्सत्यं मम ब्रूहि मा शापवशगा भव
api doṣasahasrāṇi yadi putraḥ samācaret | prāṇadrohe'pi nirato na mātā pāpamācaret | tasmātsatyaṃ mama brūhi mā śāpavaśagā bhava
Dẫu người con trai phạm đến ngàn lỗi—dẫu còn mải mê làm hại sinh mạng—người mẹ cũng không nên tạo nghiệp ác. Vậy hãy nói cho ta sự thật; chớ để mình bị quyền lực của lời nguyền chi phối.
