यद्यप्यश्रोत्रियं श्राद्धं यद्यप्युपहतं भवेत् । पक्षश्राद्धकृतं पुण्यं दिनेनैकेन लभ्यते

Transliteration

yadyapyaśrotriyaṃ śrāddhaṃ yadyapyupahataṃ bhavet | pakṣaśrāddhakṛtaṃ puṇyaṃ dinenaikena labhyate

Translation

Dẫu lễ Śrāddha được cử hành cho người thọ nhận không đủ tư cách, dẫu có phần khiếm khuyết, thì công đức của lễ Śrāddha suốt trọn nửa tháng cũng được thâu nhận chỉ trong một ngày (tại nơi này).
