Type: kshetra
Listener: Durvāsā (addressed as bhagavan/vipra/brahman)
Scene: Kṛṣṇa addresses Durvāsā with folded hands, calm and obedient, promising to do as commanded; the queen stands beside, mirroring composure; the sage’s austerity contrasts with Kṛṣṇa’s sweetness.
Respecting the holy and complying with righteous instruction is itself protective; humility is presented as the Lord’s own teaching-by-example.
Dvārakā is the Māhātmya setting, portraying the city as a place where brāhmaṇa-honor and dharma are upheld.
No explicit ritual; it emphasizes brāhmaṇa-respect and obedience as dharmic conduct.
