आतिथ्येनार्चितो विप्रो दास्यते च महोदयम् । गृहिणी न गृहे यस्य सत्पात्रागमनं वृथा

Transliteration

ātithyenārcito vipro dāsyate ca mahodayam | gṛhiṇī na gṛhe yasya satpātrāgamanaṃ vṛthā

Translation

Khi một vị brāhmaṇa được tôn kính bằng lòng hiếu khách, vị ấy ban cho đại phúc thịnh vượng. Nhưng nhà nào không có người nội trợ chân chính, thì sự đến của bậc khách xứng đáng cũng trở thành uổng công.
