प्रह्लाद उवाच । कृत्वाऽभिषेकं तीर्थेषु यथावद्दत्त दक्षिणः । पूजयेच्च ततो देवं कृष्णाख्यं पुरुषं परम्
prahlāda uvāca | kṛtvā'bhiṣekaṃ tīrtheṣu yathāvaddatta dakṣiṇaḥ | pūjayecca tato devaṃ kṛṣṇākhyaṃ puruṣaṃ param
Prahlāda thưa: “Sau khi cử hành đúng pháp lễ tắm gội (abhiṣeka) tại các thánh địa (tīrtha) và dâng cúng lễ vật thù lao (dakṣiṇā) theo nghi, bấy giờ hãy thờ phụng Đức Chúa—Đấng Tối Thượng (Puruṣa Parama) mang danh Kṛṣṇa.”

Scene: Prahlāda instructs brāhmaṇas/pilgrims: devotees emerge from a tīrtha-bath, offer dakṣiṇā to priests, then approach a Kṛṣṇa shrine with lamps, flowers, and conch; Kṛṣṇa as Puruṣottama is worshiped.
Pilgrimage is completed by devotion and right conduct: purification at tīrthas should culminate in worship of the Supreme Lord and respectful giving (dakṣiṇā).
