उपवासो बलाज्जातो ह्यन्नाभावाद्वयोरपि । पद्मैरेभिर्हरः पूज्यो द्वाभ्यामेवाद्य निश्चयम्
upavāso balājjāto hyannābhāvādvayorapi | padmairebhirharaḥ pūjyo dvābhyāmevādya niścayam
Cuộc trai giới này phát sinh vì điều tất yếu, bởi lương thực thiếu thốn cho cả hai chúng ta. Vậy nên hôm nay, không chút nghi ngờ, chính hai ta hãy dùng những đóa sen này mà phụng thờ Hara (Śiva).
