गोमती च समानीता तपसा नृपसत्तम । तत्र स्नातो नरः सम्यक्पातकै र्विप्रमुच्यते
gomatī ca samānītā tapasā nṛpasattama | tatra snāto naraḥ samyakpātakai rvipramucyate
Hỡi bậc vương thượng, nhờ sức khổ hạnh mà sông Gomatī đã được dẫn về nơi ấy. Ai tắm gội đúng pháp tại đó thì hoàn toàn được giải thoát khỏi mọi tội lỗi và lỗi lầm.

Austerity sanctifies geography; bathing at such sanctified waters is taught as a means of inner and karmic purification.
The bathing place at/near Vasiṣṭha’s kuṇḍa where Gomatī is said to have been brought through tapas.
