यः पुनः कुरुते श्राद्धं तस्य वंशो न नश्यति । न प्रेतो जायते राजन्वंशे तस्य कदाचन
yaḥ punaḥ kurute śrāddhaṃ tasya vaṃśo na naśyati | na preto jāyate rājanvaṃśe tasya kadācana
Hơn nữa, ai cử hành lễ śrāddha thì dòng dõi người ấy không suy diệt. Tâu Đại vương, trong gia tộc ấy, chẳng bao giờ phát sinh ‘preta’—kẻ chết trong cảnh khổ vì chưa được tế độ.
