Vì thế, ai mong cầu điều lành tối thượng cho chính mình thì phải hết lòng cử hành lễ śrāddha tại đó, và cũng nên tắm gội thanh tịnh, ôi bậc vương thượng tối thắng.
Pulastya
Tirtha: Nāgodbhava Tīrtha
Type: kshetra
Listener: King (Pārthivaśreṣṭha)
Scene: Daytime ritual at a tīrtha-bank: a pilgrim performs śrāddha with darbha, water libations, and offerings, then proceeds to bathe; priests and simple ritual vessels present; atmosphere of solemn calm.
Personal welfare (śreyas) is pursued through dharmic rites—especially tīrtha-bathing and ancestral offerings.
The injunction is for the same celebrated site in the chapter: Nāgodbhava Tīrtha (Arbuda Khaṇḍa).
Perform śrāddha at the site and undertake snāna (ritual bathing) there.
