Type: kund
Listener: Śaunaka et al. (implied)
Scene: Vasiṣṭha speaks with calm certainty, hand raised in blessing; the spring is shown as brimming (‘pūrṇa’) and radiant. A symbolic child with auspicious marks (tilaka, lotus-like signs) is hinted as the promised fruit.
Rishi-vākya (the sage’s word) seals the tīrtha’s efficacy; faith joined with a simple rite is portrayed as powerful.
Nāga-tīrtha—its water is described as pūrṇa (full), i.e., charged with sacred potency.
Snāna-mātra in the tīrtha-water, with the promised fruit of a virtuous, auspiciously marked son.
