Type: kshetra
Scene: A king, freshly blessed by Caṇḍikā’s grace, formally donates elephants and royal wealth to seated brāhmaṇas near a sacred precinct; attendants bring tusked elephants, gold, and cloth; the atmosphere is solemn and devotional.
Grace is completed by generosity: a righteous king converts divine favor into public merit through dāna to worthy recipients.
The verse does not name a site; it presents the dharmic response (dāna) within the larger Tīrthamāhātmya setting.
Dāna (gift-giving) to Brahmins is explicitly mentioned—elephants and other wealth are offered as charity.
