। अथ सुपर्णाख्यमाहात्म्यं भविष्यंति । ऋषय ऊचुः । यदेतद्भवता प्रोक्तं तेजोवीर्यसमन्वितः । गरुडस्तेन संजज्ञे मुनीनां होमकर्मणा

Nay xin kể về Māhātmya mang danh “Suparṇa”. Các hiền triết thưa rằng: “Điều ngài đã nói—rằng Garuḍa, đầy rực sáng và dũng lực, được sinh ra nhờ nghi lễ homa của các bậc muni—chúng tôi mong được nghe cho tường tận.”
