एवं तस्य व्रतस्थस्य जग्मुर्वर्षशतानि च । तत्र भीतास्ततो देवा ब्रह्मविष्णुपुरःसराः
evaṃ tasya vratasthasya jagmurvarṣaśatāni ca | tatra bhītāstato devā brahmaviṣṇupuraḥsarāḥ
Như thế, khi ông kiên định trong giới nguyện, hàng trăm năm đã trôi qua. Bấy giờ chư thiên—do Brahmā và Viṣṇu dẫn đầu—đều sinh lòng sợ hãi vì khổ hạnh ấy.
