वयं यस्मै त्वया दत्ताः पत्न्यर्थं तात पापिने । ऋतुमात्रमपि प्रीत्या सोऽस्माकं न प्रयच्छति

Transliteration

vayaṃ yasmai tvayā dattāḥ patnyarthaṃ tāta pāpine | ṛtumātramapi prītyā so'smākaṃ na prayacchati

Translation

“Thưa cha, cha đã gả chúng con cho kẻ tội lỗi ấy làm vợ; vậy mà người ấy chẳng ban cho chúng con dù chỉ một kỳ ân ái—một ṛtu—cũng không đến với chúng con bằng lòng thương mến.”
