ततोहं गृहपो भूयां बांधवो ह्यपि बांधवम् । स्नुषापि वेत्ति चित्तेन यदि श्वश्रूः क्षयं व्रजेत्
tatohaṃ gṛhapo bhūyāṃ bāṃdhavo hyapi bāṃdhavam | snuṣāpi vetti cittena yadi śvaśrūḥ kṣayaṃ vrajet
Rồi người ta nghĩ: “Ước gì ta trở thành chủ của gia thất”; ngay cả bà con cũng mưu tính hại bà con. Ngay cả nàng dâu cũng biết trong lòng và toan liệu rằng nếu mẹ chồng qua đời thì sao.
