Gālava (deduced from immediate chapter-context; narrative dialogue in Paijavana-upākhyāna)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A ritual offering scene: bilva leaves are offered vidhivat to Umā-Maheśvara; beside the shrine stand a bilva tree glowing with Pārvatī’s presence and a tulasī plant glowing with Śrī’s presence, symbolizing akṣaya merit.
Offerings made with proper rite for the Divine Couple become akṣaya (imperishable), and sacred plants are living seats of divine presence.
It belongs to the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra-māhātmya context within Nāgara-khaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
Give/offer according to vidhi to Umā-Maheśvara; honor bilva as Pārvatī’s abode (and tulasī as Śrī’s abode).
