न च त्याज्यं समुच्छिष्टं तेन भुंजामहे ततः । तदत्र कारणेनैव गुरुणा भाव्यमेव हि । येन त्वं यच्छसि प्राय एतत्सिद्धिर्भवेत्स्थिता
na ca tyājyaṃ samucchiṣṭaṃ tena bhuṃjāmahe tataḥ | tadatra kāraṇenaiva guruṇā bhāvyameva hi | yena tvaṃ yacchasi prāya etatsiddhirbhavetsthitā
Cũng không nên bỏ đi mà gọi là “đồ thừa”, nên chúng tôi mới thọ thực. Nhưng hẳn nơi đây có một nguyên do trọng yếu—vì chính lý do ấy mà ngài thường dâng món này—để nghi lễ đã định kia thật sự được viên thành như ý.
