Type: ghat
Listener: Śaunaka and other ṛṣis (implied Nāimiṣāraṇya frame)
Scene: Śiva, after granting the boon, fades from view in a luminous aura; Indra stands relieved, radiance returning to his face, then turns toward the celestial path back to Svarga.
Divine grace removes sin and restores dharmic order; once the boon is granted, the Lord remains beyond ordinary perception.
The context is the Bālamaṇḍana tīrtha described in Nāgarakhaṇḍa, Tīrthamāhātmya, Adhyāya 22.
No direct ritual is prescribed in this verse; it concludes a narrative moment—Śiva departs and Indra returns purified.
