अहमासं पुरा कन्या पुरे कुसुमसंज्ञिते । वीरसेनस्य शूद्रस्य वणिक्पुत्रस्य धीमतः । तेन दत्ताऽस्मि धर्मेण विवाहार्थं महात्मना
ahamāsaṃ purā kanyā pure kusumasaṃjñite | vīrasenasya śūdrasya vaṇikputrasya dhīmataḥ | tena dattā'smi dharmeṇa vivāhārthaṃ mahātmanā
“Thuở trước ta là một thiếu nữ ở thành Kusuma. Ta được vị bậc hiền ấy gả cho Vīrasena—người trí tuệ, thuộc dòng thương gia và mang địa vị Śūdra—đúng theo pháp (dharma), để thành hôn.”
