श्रीभगवानुवाच । एतद्रूपं मया शक्र कृतं तस्य वधाय वै । अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां यतोन्येषां मया हतः
śrībhagavānuvāca | etadrūpaṃ mayā śakra kṛtaṃ tasya vadhāya vai | avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ yatonyeṣāṃ mayā hataḥ
Đức Thế Tôn phán: “Hỡi Śakra, Ta đã hiện thân này quả thật để diệt hắn; vì hắn bất khả xâm phạm đối với mọi loài hữu tình—bởi vậy chính Ta đã giết hắn, chứ không phải kẻ khác.”
