मासं मासं प्रति सदा शांता दांता जितेंद्रियाः । ततो मासा वसानेऽन्ये चक्रुस्तच्छांतिकं द्विजाः

Transliteration

māsaṃ māsaṃ prati sadā śāṃtā dāṃtā jiteṃdriyāḥ | tato māsā vasāne'nye cakrustacchāṃtikaṃ dvijāḥ

Translation

Hết tháng này sang tháng khác, các brāhmaṇa ấy luôn an tịnh, tự chế và điều phục các căn, không ngừng cử hành chính nghi lễ śānti ấy; rồi khi mãn tháng, những brāhmaṇa khác cũng thực hiện cùng một śānti.
