न त्वं कृतः केवलसंश्रुतश्च यजुष्येवं व्याहरत्यादिदेव । चतुर्विधा भारती दूरदूरं धृष्टः स्तौमि स्वार्थकामः क्षमैतत्
na tvaṃ kṛtaḥ kevalasaṃśrutaśca yajuṣyevaṃ vyāharatyādideva | caturvidhā bhāratī dūradūraṃ dhṛṣṭaḥ staumi svārthakāmaḥ kṣamaitat
Ôi Đấng Thần Linh nguyên thủy! Ngài chẳng phải vật được tạo tác, cũng chẳng chỉ là điều người ta nghe nói—thế mà Yajus Veda vẫn xưng tụng Ngài như vậy. Lời nói với bốn dạng chỉ vươn tới nơi xa; dẫu thế, vì nhu cầu riêng, con cả gan ca ngợi Ngài—xin Ngài từ bi tha thứ.
