स्वेदजाश्चोद्भिजाश्चेति तत जीवाः प्रकीर्तिताः । भावार्थः कथितश्चायं तत्त्वार्थं श्रृणु सांप्रतम्
svedajāścodbhijāśceti tata jīvāḥ prakīrtitāḥ | bhāvārthaḥ kathitaścāyaṃ tattvārthaṃ śrṛṇu sāṃpratam
Và loài sinh từ mồ hôi cùng loài mọc lên từ đất—như thế các hữu tình được tuyên xưng. Đây là nghĩa bề mặt đã nói; nay hãy nghe nghĩa chân thật theo tत्त्व (tattva).
