यदि तान्भोः प्रशंसामि स्वीयान्स्तौतीति वाच्यता । निंदाम्यनर्हान्कस्माद्वा कष्टमेवोभयत्र च
yadi tānbhoḥ praśaṃsāmi svīyānstautīti vācyatā | niṃdāmyanarhānkasmādvā kaṣṭamevobhayatra ca
Nếu ta ca ngợi họ, người đời sẽ nói: “Ông ấy đang tán dương người của mình.” Nhưng nếu ta chê trách những kẻ không đáng bị chê, thì cớ sao ta phải làm vậy? Dù theo cách nào cũng đều trở thành điều phiền lụy.
