यद्दुःखं जायते तस्य तद्गर्भेऽष्टगुणं भवेत् । इत्येतद्गर्भदुःखं हि प्राणिनां परिकीर्तितम्

Transliteration

yadduḥkhaṃ jāyate tasya tadgarbhe'ṣṭaguṇaṃ bhavet | ityetadgarbhaduḥkhaṃ hi prāṇināṃ parikīrtitam

Translation

Bất cứ khổ đau nào phát sinh nơi một hữu tình, thì ngay trong bào thai, khổ ấy tăng lên gấp tám. Như vậy, ‘khổ trong thai’ của muôn loài được tuyên thuyết.
