येन रुद्रायते भक्त्या कुरुते मार्जनक्रियाम् । तस्मान्मार्जयते त्वेवं स्थाणुनैतत्परस्परम्

Transliteration

yena rudrāyate bhaktyā kurute mārjanakriyām | tasmānmārjayate tvevaṃ sthāṇunaitatparasparam

Translation

Nhờ lòng sùng kính khiến người hành lễ như “trở nên đồng thể với Rudra” mà thực hiện nghi thức tẩy sạch; chính nhờ lòng sùng kính ấy, Đức Sthāṇu—Đấng Bất Động—dường như được tẩy sạch. Nhưng kỳ thực, đây không phải sự tẩy rửa theo nghĩa đối ứng, vật chất.
