Transliteration

idaṃ pitṛbhyo devebhyo dvijebhyaḥ pāvakāya ca | evaṃ kasmādvistarāḥ syurmanaḥ kāyādikaṣṭadāḥ

Translation

“Cái này dành cho Pitṛs, cái này cho chư thiên, cái này cho hàng dvija (nhị sinh), và cái này cho Thần Lửa”—nếu chỉ nói như thế là đủ, thì vì sao lại có những nghi thức rườm rà khiến tâm và thân nhọc mệt?
