Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 15
तान्निवार्य ततः स्कंदः क्रुद्धः शक्तिमथाददे । पातालाय मुमोचाथ प्रोच्य दैत्यो निहन्यताम्
tānnivārya tataḥ skaṃdaḥ kruddhaḥ śaktimathādade | pātālāya mumocātha procya daityo nihanyatām
Ngăn họ lại, Skanda nổi giận, liền cầm lấy ngọn giáo thiêng (śakti) và phóng xuống Pātāla, tuyên rằng: “Hãy diệt tên quỷ ấy!”
