एष चेद्धंति तद्भद्रं हन्यतामेष मां रणे । रुद्रभक्ते पुनर्विष्णो नाहं शस्त्रमुपाददे

eṣa ceddhaṃti tadbhadraṃ hanyatāmeṣa māṃ raṇe | rudrabhakte punarviṣṇo nāhaṃ śastramupādade

Nếu hắn thực sự ra tay—thì cứ để vậy đi; hãy để hắn đánh ta trong trận chiến. Nhưng, hỡi Viṣṇu, đối với một tín đồ của Rudra, ta sẽ không bao giờ cầm vũ khí lên nữa.
