महादेव उवाच । पित्रा हि ते परिज्ञातं दृष्ट्वा त्वां रूपशालिनीम् । बालां स्वयंवरं पुत्री महं दास्यामि नान्यथा
mahādeva uvāca | pitrā hi te parijñātaṃ dṛṣṭvā tvāṃ rūpaśālinīm | bālāṃ svayaṃvaraṃ putrī mahaṃ dāsyāmi nānyathā
Mahādeva đáp: “Quả thật, phụ thân nàng đã hiểu rõ việc này khi thấy nàng rạng ngời dung sắc. Ông sẽ gả cô con gái trẻ trong lễ svayaṃvara; nhất định là như vậy, không cách nào khác.”
