किं तु तत्तपसा साध्यं मन्येहं सुरसंगमम् । तस्मादादौ करिष्यामि तपो घोरं दनोः सुताः

Transliteration

kiṃ tu tattapasā sādhyaṃ manyehaṃ surasaṃgamam | tasmādādau kariṣyāmi tapo ghoraṃ danoḥ sutāḥ

Translation

Nhưng ta cho rằng sự hội ngộ với chư thiên chỉ có thể thành tựu nhờ khổ hạnh (tapas). Vì thế, trước hết ta sẽ thực hành tapas nghiêm khắc—hỡi các con của Danu.
