dharmo jīvadayā tulyo na kvāpi jagatītale | tasmātsarvaprayatnena kāryā jīvadayā nṛbhiḥ

Translation

Trên mặt đất này, không có pháp (dharma) nào sánh bằng lòng từ bi đối với muôn loài hữu tình. Vì thế, con người phải dốc mọi nỗ lực để thực hành jīva-dayā—thương xót sự sống.
