पुरश्चरणमेवैतद्यदस्यैव विसर्जनम् । सुश्लाघ्यजन्मया तावत्प्राणितव्यं सुयोषिता । यावज्जीवितनाथस्याश्रवणीया विगर्हणा

Transliteration

puraścaraṇamevaitadyadasyaiva visarjanam | suślāghyajanmayā tāvatprāṇitavyaṃ suyoṣitā | yāvajjīvitanāthasyāśravaṇīyā vigarhaṇā

Translation

Chỉ điều này mới là pháp hành đúng (puraścaraṇa): xả bỏ chính thân này. Người phụ nữ hiền đức, sinh ra cao quý, chỉ nên sống đến khi nàng không bị buộc phải nghe lời sỉ nhục nhắm vào đấng phu quân, khi chàng còn tại thế.
