अतीवगर्वितो जातः सती मे प्राप्य कन्यकाम् । कस्यचिन्नाप्यसौ प्रायो न कोस्यापि क्वचित्पुनः
atīvagarvito jātaḥ satī me prāpya kanyakām | kasyacinnāpyasau prāyo na kosyāpi kvacitpunaḥ
Sau khi cưới được con gái ta là Satī làm hiền thê, hắn trở nên vô cùng kiêu mạn. Hắn hầu như chẳng tỏ chút kính nhường với bất kỳ ai—bất cứ lúc nào, với bất cứ người nào.
