नापत्यं पाति नो माता न पिता नैव बांधवाः । पत्युश्चरणशुश्रूषा पायाद्वै केवलं स्त्रियम्
nāpatyaṃ pāti no mātā na pitā naiva bāṃdhavāḥ | patyuścaraṇaśuśrūṣā pāyādvai kevalaṃ striyam
Không phải con cái che chở, không phải mẹ, không phải cha, cũng chẳng phải bà con thân thuộc. Với người nữ, quả thật chỉ có sự phụng sự đầy tín kính nơi chân chồng mới là chỗ nương tựa hộ trì.
