मतिमद्भ्यो नराः श्रेष्ठास्तेभ्यः श्रेष्ठास्तु वाडवाः । विप्रेभ्योपि च विद्वांसो विद्वद्भ्यः कृतबुद्धयः
matimadbhyo narāḥ śreṣṭhāstebhyaḥ śreṣṭhāstu vāḍavāḥ | viprebhyopi ca vidvāṃso vidvadbhyaḥ kṛtabuddhayaḥ
Trong những kẻ có trí, loài người là tối thắng; cao hơn họ là những người có hạnh kiểm nghiêm cẩn. Ngay trong hàng Brāhmaṇa, bậc học giả còn cao hơn; và cao hơn học giả là người có trí hiểu đã viên mãn và vững bền.
