kathameṣā trilokīḍyā gīyate maṇikarṇikā | tatrāsītkiṃ purāsvāminyadā nāmaranimnagā

Maṇikarṇikā được ca tụng là lừng danh khắp ba cõi như thế nào? Và bạch Chúa Tể, thuở xưa—khi dòng sông ấy vừa được biết đến bằng danh xưng—nơi đó đã có gì?
