इत्थं विलप्य बहुशो नयनांबुधारासंपातजात तटिनी शतमुत्तरंगम् । सा तोकशोकजनितानल तापतप्ता प्रोच्छ्वस्यदीर्घविपुलोष्णमहो शुशोष
itthaṃ vilapya bahuśo nayanāṃbudhārāsaṃpātajāta taṭinī śatamuttaraṃgam | sā tokaśokajanitānala tāpataptā procchvasyadīrghavipuloṣṇamaho śuśoṣa
Than khóc như thế hết lần này đến lần khác, dòng lệ từ mắt nàng tuôn thành thác, như trăm con sông với sóng dâng. Bị thiêu đốt bởi sức nóng của ngọn lửa sinh từ nỗi đau mất con, nàng thở dốc những hơi dài, nặng và bỏng rát—rồi ôi, nàng héo mòn mà tắt lịm.
