Transliteration

upākarma tataḥ kṛtvā vedānadhyāpayatsudhīḥ | tryabdaṃ vedānsavidhinā'dhyaiṣṭa sāṃgapadakramān

Translation

Sau khi làm lễ Upākarma, bậc hiền trí bắt đầu học Veda. Suốt ba năm, ông học Veda đúng pháp, cùng các Vedāṅga, Padapāṭha (tụng từng từ) và Kramapāṭha (tụng theo thứ tự).
